 We’ve put together a blend of dynamic experiences that will spark your curiosity and help nurture your inner butterfly.

  • Delve into the innate wisdom held within the body and unleash movement's dynamic healing power with vibrant conscious dance sessions.

  • Immerse yourself in the rejuvenating practice of nature bathing and connect with the breathtaking beauty of the land and your sensuous animal body.

We will be nourished by the delicious local vegetarian food prepared lovingly by Giles and Fi.

Dance and movement

Where will we be?

Where we will be

Moulin de la Treille is a restored water mill, built by Cistercian monks in the 13th century .

Nestled in the silent and timeless valley of the Ouysse river (known to the locals as the Emerald river for its sparkling clarity) surrounded by cliffs and wild flower meadows.  Unwind in totally unspoilt countryside where kingfishers, nightingales, wild orchids, damsel flies, butterflies and herons abound.

Nearest train stations are Souillac and Gourdon - 15-20 minutes from Latreille. We can collect you from here.

By plane:

Ryanair flies to Limoges & Bergerac  then 90 minutes drive to Moulin de Latreille or 2 hours  from Limoges to Souillac by train

Easyjet flys to Toulouse - 90 minutes drive from the Mill then 2hours by train to Souillac

Alex Croft feldenkrais and NLP

Alex Croft dancer, gardener, thinker and sculptor uses the Feldenkrais method which he has been teaching for more than 20 years. He encourage you to explore and expand your potential
for quality and power in the way you sense and move your body.

 

He will also be training you in Neurolinguistic programming (NLP)  to challenge the way you think and improve the way you communicate.

Kimi Gill therapeutic photography

Kimi Gill is a photographer whose work focuses on people and portraits. She has worked with various charities, artists and websites to capture humanity through photos.

 

She will be sharing her knowledge of therapeutic photography, which uses images to help with healing and self discovery, focusing on the Self-Portrait Experience (SPEX) as developed by the artist Cristina Núñez.

Sarah Bewilderess nature immersion

Sarah Johnson (Bewilderess)  

has spent 25 years researching, designing and delivering tools and events that propagate creative approaches to sustainability. She has worked with a diverse range of organisations including the RSA, Southbank, British Council, London Design Festival, Kingston School of Art and the Design Museum to promote wider connection to nature and our creative selves. 

She brings to our retreat her ongoing enquiry into embodiment and community in nature, leading us through sensory exercises to a greater sense of love and appreciation for our animal bodies, and deeper connectivity to the more-than-human.
